Your Dear Aunt Crabby is happiest when she’s ranting, and the news this morning has really given her something to rant about.
Juan Williams in an interview with Bill O’Reilly apparently voiced aloud what probably 99 percent of the population anywhere in the world would have been thinking if they were in the same position.
Aunt Crabby thinks Juan Williams should not have been fired by NPR (National Public Radio) for stating his honest thoughts about the situation.
He didn’t give his opinion, he just said what he thought when in the situation.
So now it looks like one of the last honest radio journalists on NPR has been shut up.
This really annoys Aunt Crabby, and although there may not be anything else she can do about this rotten situation, she at least will be removing NPR from the presets on her car radio.
There, NPR, see how you like that! I’ve deleted you from my radio presets for firing Juan Williams, who only said what most any of us would have said if we were being honest!
